Kicking Off The Year With Disney Fashion Collections
There are tons of Disney collabs announcements lately, including Blackmilk, Columbia, Her Universe, and shopDisney. Let’s take a look at each collection and where you can shop them.
BLACKMILK X DISNEY
This wouldn’t be the first time Australian fashion brand Blackmilk has teamed up with Disney. The latest collection, “Won’t Grow Up” is available online at Blackmilk’s website. Pieces range from reversible skater dresses to cuffed pants, maxi dresses to activewear. There are tons of options and styles to fit every lifestyle. I own a couple of pieces from Blackmilk and I really like the quality of their clothes. If you’re interested in anything from this collection, don’t wait on it. Many styles have already sold out.
COLUMBIA X DISNEY
Following on the heel of their last Disney collab for Frozen 2, this new collection is all about the true original - Mickey Mouse. As a tried-and-true brand for all things outdoors, this collection perfectly blends the love of an active lifestyle and Disney. There are options available for adults and children.
My personal favorite is the Mickey Ibex jacket because of the Mickey Ears on the hood as well as a few hidden mickeys inside the jacket. Oh, did I mention the ears are stowable? It’s also waterproof, breathable, and has adjustable cuffs and hoods to keep you comfortable and dry on a rainy day.
Minnie Mouse Mania
Both Her Universe and shopDisney have released collections inspired by the iconic Minnie Mouse. For Her Universe, they’ve embraced Minnie’s signature prints - polka dots and bows will be featured on various tops and dresses. ShopDisney also has an array of new Minnie Mouse products. What’s really interesting on shopDisney is the Minnie Mouse: Main Attraction launch. Every 3rd Saturday, shopDisney will launch new Minnie products inspired by an attraction of parks (Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Small World, and more)!
The first series is set to launch on January 18th, 2020 and this one features Space Mountain. Every collection in the series will include a plush toy, journal, pin set, Minnie ears, bag, and mug. I’m not sure if the items will sold together as a collection or separately. There’s also a limited edition of a Minnie Mouse doll inspired by Main Street USA, featuring Minnie in a Victorian style jacket, printed skirt featuring the buildings of Main Street, striped hat, lace accents, and more! This is a limited edition of 3500, available now on shopDisney.
