Jan 17 Animal Crossing X Colourpop Cosmetics Collection Coming Soon

Get your Bells ready for this upcoming Animal Crossing x Colourpop Cosmetics collab! Announced via Colourpop’s Tik Tok and Instagram, fans of both the adorable video game and the makeup brand got a sneak peek at the collection, which will release on January 28th, 2021 at 10am PT on Colourpop’s website. The collection will also be available at Ulta Beauty on February 14th, 2021. You can sign up for reminder for the collection drop at the Colourpop website right now.

Colourpop has done many collabs such as Candyland, Sailor Moon, The Mandalorian, Disney’s Mulan, and more. Most of the time, these collab collections sell out very quickly. With how popular Animal Crossing: New Horizon is, I have a feeling we have to quick to ensure we snag the items we want.
With that said, let’s take a look at what is in this collection.

There are four palettes in the collection - Nook Inc, 5 Star Island, Labelle of the Ball, and What A Hoot. Each palette has a mirror and 4 eyeshadows in various finishes.
Two full-size blush in Flower Power (baby pink) and Flower Tender (peachy-pink).
One individual Super Shock shadow in a pink metallic shade called Balloon Pop and a glitter gel called Bellionaire Glitterally Obsessed which is more of a gold body gel with chunky glitter. If you’ve tried Colourpop’s Super Shock Shadow before, you’ll know the formula is very pigmented and buttery soft.
Finally, we have the Just A Tint lip crayons inspired by the island’s fruit. For pink and red hues, we have the Fruit Basket Mini Lip Tint Duo. For orange and peachy hues, we have the Fruit Roots Mini Lip Tint Duo and for caramel/brown hues we have the Bunch Mini Lip Tint Duo.

As a fan of the video game and Colourpop Cosmetics, I’m really happy this collection is coming out soon. I love the adorable packaging and overall theme. I think I would love to see other accessories in the collection such as a money bag mirror as well as some skin care items. Imagine a Face Milk for each of the island fruit? Nonetheless, this is a wonderful collection and I’ll be online on Jan. 28th to try and snack all the lip tint crayons.
