Shadow of the Tomb Raider - Her Universe Collection
Her Universe have always been on top of the geek fashion trend, releasing collections inspired by Disney, Pixar, Studio Ghibli, Star Wars, Marvel, and DC. Today, Her Universe crosses into gaming territory with a brand new collection inspired by the new Square Enix game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, just in time for the release on September 14th, 2018.

In a video annoucement on Her Universe's YouTube channel, founder Ashley Eckstein taps the talented Hannah Kent for the task. Kent is no stranger to the Her Universe brand as she has competed in the yearly fashion show and won in 2016 leading her (along with Camille Falciola and Jesse Thaxton) to design a Wonder Woman collection for Hot Topic.
Kent is a fan of the Lara Croft games, and the perfect designer to lead this collection as Eckstein wanted the collection to be designed "from a fan's perspective".

This seven-piece collection varies from activewear to outerwear. Every item in this collection closely resembles what Lara would be wearing in the game. Some even bear the logo of her iconic ice pick weapon. My favorite pieces from the collection are the puffer vest and the activewear set. The puffer vest is in a gorgeous red with faux fur on the hood. You'll find a topographic map printed on the interior. The other is the activewear set. I love the "Tomb raider in training" printed on the band to motivate me to hit the gym and train hard. The gray/black color palette keeps it simple and clean and yes, the pants have pockets! I especially like how the black pattern on the pants resembles Lara's hip holster.
