One Dress, Three Ways - Blackmilk Clothing x Super Mario Collection

Blackmilk Clothing has done countless collabs with pop culture and geek brands such as Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and more. One of their most recent collab was with Super Mario to celebrate the 35th anniversary. One dress, in particular, caught my eye -- the Super Stars sheer tier dress. The black dress features the iconic star from Super Mario, foil printed all over the dress. I was amazed at how vibrant and shiny the stars are. The dress has a flowy tier and is fully lined. Did I mention how comfortable it feels? I don’t have many Blackmilk pieces in my closet (yet) but I’m really happy with my purchase.

With the weather getting cooler in LA, I wanted to find ways to still be able to show off this dress so I created three different looks by adding simple and staple pieces that I already had in my closet. But first, let’s take a look at the Super Star tier dress.

For the next look, I paired it with a faux leather jacket and my favorite black fedora for a “night out” look. I like how it gives the dress more of an edgy look.

For the last look, I added a black knitted sweater for a cozy look. You can also wear a pair of tights underneath for some added warmth. By adding the sweater, it means this dress doesn’t have to stay in my closet through the fall and winter season.

And there you have it, one dress styled three ways. I hope you found this post helpful if you have a dress that you love and don’t want to put away completely for the cooler weather.
